MLK Jr. Day of Service

Join Us in Service: MLK Jr. Day At SSFS!

monday, January 17, 2022

Each year, on the third Monday in January, Sandy Spring Friends School joins the nation in service and reflection to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Due to the current spike in Covid cases, we are again planning a virtual celebration of MLK day, with a focus on opportunities for giving back to those in our community who are most in need. Join us for a virtual kick-off and moments for reflection, and then participate in a number of drop-off activities on campus, where we’ll be collecting art for first responders and others, books for our book drive, and supplies for expectant mothers and their families.
