A reminder that Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 19 and 20 are Faculty-Staff Professional Days; there will be no classes. Wednesday-Friday is the Thanksgiving holiday break. Classes resume on Monday, Nov. 26.

For Middle School (MS)




Spanish students will have the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica June 17-23, and French students to France June 18-25. Interested in the details of these trips? Please come to our information meetings on Tuesday, November 13 at 6:30 pm. The Costa Rica trip will meet in the MS Collection Space, and the France trip will meet in Yarnall Library. 

There will be 3 trips this year: January 11th and January 18th to Whitetail, and January 25th to Liberty. Find out more about how to sign up here. Questions? Contact Sunshine Klein.

The Fair will take place from 3:00–4:00 pm in PAC Studio B. Students will meet with admission and department representatives from both liberal arts colleges and art schools. Read more here.

Dorm Closure Dates for Thanksgiving Break

A reminder that the dorm will close on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 10:00 for Thanksgiving Break. The dorm will re-open on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 12:00 noon.

Dec. 6: Video C&Cs with Jonathan Oglesbee for International Families

Upper School Zoom Parent Coffee and Conversation with International Families will be held at scheduled time slots throughout the day. Contact Meredith Shankle for more information.

Upper School Intersession Trips - Descriptions Available Online

An email was sent to all Upper School parents on Oct. 14 about the Intersession program, an experiential learning opportunity for our students that takes place in the spring.  The 2018-2019 Intersession trip choices for your student are available online for review here. Note that the 9th grade takes a trip together to the Florida Keys, so parents of 9th grade students do not need to select a trip. Questions?
