"Magic 5" for Snow Play
Pam Gilmer

Winter weather can be a trickster. Be sure to dress your child in layers to ensure both indoor and outdoor comfort. We strive to get the students outdoors for breaks and recess. Unless the thermometer reads below 20 degrees, we go outside to play. If the thermometer reads above 20, but the wind chill is below 20 degrees, we will remain indoors. On snowy days, all Lower School students know that they must wear their “MAGIC 5” to play in the snow. The “MAGIC 5” includes a coat, hat, gloves, snow-boots, and snow-pants. These items should be sent to school in a sturdy reusable shopping bag. As always, please label your child’s clothing with their first and last name.
