Weekly Newsletter Emailed Each Sunday During The School Year.
Mar. 22, 2020 Virtual Story Time SSFS faculty and students have completed their first week of virtual learning! While the transition to an online vs. in-class learning environment presented some challenges, there have been many wonderful moments of learning and community building, even (especially!) during this period of "social distancing." Here, Chanelle B. reads "Pete the Cat" to her preschool students as part of their morning get-together. Thanks to all our amazing teachers for their flexibility and ability to navigate a new learning environment so that our students can continue to learn and connect with one another! See more about Virtual Learning at SSFS and upload your virtual school photos here.

Starting Friday, March 20, the SSFS campus will remain closed in order to help in our efforts to help contain the spread of the coronavirus. Only current campus residents and essential SSFS staff will have access to buildings and facilities, including the playground and athletic fields, at this time. Recognizing the fast-moving events surrounding Coronavirus updates in our area, we have created a web page to help consolidate communications from SSFS and provide resources to our families. Please take a minute review our web page, which is updated frequently to help provide transparency and information for our community. The PA Executive Committee is proposing a minor change to the wording of the PA by-laws. Parents are welcome to read the details, which will be presented for approval at the April 14 PA meeting. The substance of the proposed change can be found HERE.
