Events
The Spring Arts Events at Sandy Spring Friends School celebrate the creativity, dedication, and growth of our student artists across disciplines. From vibrant visual art exhibitions to dynamic performances in music, theatre, and dance, these events highlight the rich artistic life of our community. Students share their voices through original work and collaborative pieces, inviting audiences to experience the imagination and skill they have developed throughout the year. Join us as we honor the arts and the powerful role they play in inspiring connection, expression, and joy.
2026 Community Art Show
Submit Artwork by Sep. 18 for the Oct. 2 Show!
We are thrilled to invite Sandy Spring Friends School alumni, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, and community members to participate in our upcoming Community Visual Arts Show. This special exhibition celebrates the creativity, imagination, and artistic talent that lives within our extended SSFS community. Whether you are a lifelong artist, a weekend creative, or simply someone who loves making art, we would love to showcase your work, which will be displayed in the Performing Arts Center Lobby from Oct. 2 (opening reception at 6:00 PM) through Dec. 2, 2026. We welcome both 2D and 3D artwork. All artwork must be ready to hang or display and labeled with your contact information.
Interested in participating? Please complete the Google Form to submit your work. All artwork must be dropped off in the PAC Lobby by Friday, September 18 at 4:00 PM to be included in the show. Questions? Please email Michelle Puhl-Price. We look forward to seeing the many creative voices that make the Sandy Spring Friends School community so special.
