Disney’s Newsies! is coming to Sandy Spring Friends School. Come see Jack Kelly and the band of Newsies take on big-shot publishers in a fight for justice, set during the 1899 New York Newsies Strike against oppressive working conditions. This show will be a cross-divisional collaboration between our Upper School and Middle School students. Please email Felix and Dana at theaterproductions@ssfs.org with any questions.

This special evening will showcase a wide range of original Visual Art created by members of the Class of 2026. Come support and honor the artistic voices of our graduating class. The Middle and Upper School Dance classes and Upper School Handbells and Instrumental Music classes performed for two evenings of beautiful creativity and collaboration on April 30 and May 1. MS and US Visual Art was also on display in the PAC lobby, and Friday night featured a special Senior Showcase musical performance.

SSFS Weaving & Fiber Arts and Spinning students will participate in various competitions at this year's Sheep & Wool Festival. Come enjoy the fun and see their submissions at the Skein and Garment Competition, and for a real treat, see the SSFS Youth Sheep to Shawl team take a pile of newly-sheared wool and, in under three hours, turn it into a beautiful shawl!
