We're very excited that your family will be a part of the SSFS community in 2018-19! Please click on the items below to see links to division-specific web pages with more detailed information about program registration, online health forms, technology info, and more as your family transitions to the upcoming school year. Note that these pages will be updated throughout the spring and into the summer.

Lower School Family Information

Throughout the spring and into the summer, your family will receive information from your child's division with information about class placement, book ordering, orientation activities, and more. Please bookmark your division's "Back to School Info" page (link below), as this is your one-stop source for the most up-to-date information to ensure a smooth transition in the fall.

April 26: Admissions Evening at the Adventure Park for New Families

Join us at the Adventure Park from 5:00-8:00 pm for an evening of fun, friends, and swinging in the trees! Don't forget to wear closed-toe shoes if you plan to climb. A Paperless Post invitation was sent out to all newly-accepted families with an opportunity to RSVP. Please contact the Admissions Office if you have any questions.

Sunday, June 3: Lower School Fun Day

All current and newly-enrolled Lower School families are invited for food, friends, and fun on Sunday, June 3rd from 1-3 PM by the Lower School sport court. (In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the Athletic Center.) There will be inflatables, Italian ice, and activities for all ages and stages. Hope you can make it!

Tuesday, June 12: New to MS Meet and Greet, 3:30-4:30 pm

Join Head of Middle School, David Blake, along with faculty and MS families in the Middle School Collection Space for a sweet treat and socializing with new friends.

Wednesday, July 25: Middle School Pond Night, 5:00-7:00 pm

Join MS families from 5:00-7:00 pm at the pond behind Scott House for an informal get-together with swimming and socializing before the school year begins.

May 30: Welcome to the 9th Grade Evening Event

Please join the Upper School Ninth Grade Faculty and the Upper School Administration at the Welcome to 9th Grade Event on Wednesday, May 30th at 7:15 pm in Studio B of the Performing Arts Center. Please note that this date is a change from the originally posted date. This event is an opportunity to hear more about the transition to Upper School and meet new and returning SSFS families who will be a part of the 9th grade for the 2018-19 academic year. At this meeting, families will receive important information about the required 9th Grade Trip that takes place in August, the start of school, the advisory program, class activities, community service, Intersession, and a variety of other topics. Students also will have the opportunity to meet one another and participate in ice-breaker games.

Families who are unable to attend this event will be able to obtain sample information about the Ninth Grade Trip and other aspects of the Ninth Grade Program on the school's website at Ninth Grade Program Webpage. Additional information will also be sent via email during the summer.
