Message from the Parents Association Clerks
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Sandy Spring Friends School Parents Association web page. Our Parents Association (PA) is a bustling, thriving community of over 850 parents who are all involved in creating an engaging and nourishing environment for learning and contributing to the world. We are spectacular!
At the core of our PA is partnership: partnership among families, between families and faculty, and between home and school. Upon enrollment of their student, all parents and guardians are automatically members of the SSFS PA. Together, we provide opportunities for people to gather, to celebrate and support one another, to exchange and develop ideas, and to serve the community at large.
During this 2012-13 school year, we look forward to an amazing array of events including Friends Day, Community Day, Winterfest, Celebration of Science, the auction, guest speakers and more! There are a wide range of opportunities for participation and we invite everyone to find or even invent a role that works for you.
Over the coming months, we look forward to laughing, learning and working with you to enrich our SSFS community.
