Many thanks to the members of the Nominating Committee who gave of their time and energies to develop the slate. This year's committee was clerked by Susan Taylor, as Mentoring Clerk and consisted of Becky Bleeker and Jean Gearon, Lower School; Laurie Bautista and Sukai Sey, Middle School; and Bruce Stedman, Ellen Hartge and Nanette Radue, Upper School.

These members approached their task with genuine seriousness and a great deal of respect for members of our community. They followed a clearly defined process as laid out in the 2003 PA By-laws and completed their charge in developing a strong, balanced executive committee. Any questions may be addressed to Susan Taylor, clerk of the committee.

As the slate of officers takes shape, a second committee begins to find people to serve in leadership positions for our events and committee; for example, auction chair, community service clerk, diversity clerk, and the like. This second committee, the Volunteer Recruitment Committee, is clerked by the PA Volunteer Coordinator, and consists of one grade representative (or substitute) from this year's 5th, 8th, and 11th grades, and the PA Assistant Clerk Nancy Adise.

Please consider what you might like to do next year. Volunteering is so much fun, a great way to help your child's school, and a wonderful way to get to know more people in this community! Nominations for these positions should be forwarded to Nancy Adise (See directory).
