The Middle School counselor revised the health curriculum for grades six through eight during the summer of 2005. This curriculum includes, but is not limited to, social and emotional issues that confront Middle School students, making healthy choices, human sexuality and mental health. Students receive information regarding nutrition, cardiovascular health and fitness in Science and Physical Education courses. In addition, professional educators will work closely with Middle School students to facilitate discussions about substance abuse.
