SSFS Library Pathfinder

Resources for Folktales, Myths, and Legends

1. Print Sources

Pick your subject and use the Library catalog to search for stories related to it. Or just browse through the Library’s collections until you find something interesting – try looking in the stacks and in the Story Room at the following Dewey decimal numbers:

291-299 – Mythology

372.64 – Storytelling

398.2 – Folktales and legends

Short story collections are found in the Fiction section and are marked with a green dot. We also have back issues of Cricket magazine in the Library office – another great resource for short stories!
