Lower School Winter Program, December 2007
Our Lower School Winter Program in December 2007 was named "Wishes and Dreams for the World." Each grade expressed a wish or dream for the world as follows: PK - Love, Kindergarten - Harmony, 1st - Happiness, 2nd - Beautiful Dreams, 3rd - Friendship, 4th - Peace, and 5th - Joy. The program included a Hebrew song and circle dance, a Spanish song enhanced by a little flamenco dancing, and a Chinese song and friendship game. For the finale, the students performed "Dreams of Harmony" and sang "goodnight" in English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Swahili, Japanese, Russian, German, and Hebrew. Our art teacher Kate did a wonderful job; she helped students make beautiful signs and banners to share our sentiments with the audience. Enjoy the photographs!
