Planned Giving
Sandy Spring Friends School invites everyone to join Friends Forever, our planned giving society. Friends Forever is a special group of individuals who have demonstrated their support for the future of Sandy Spring Friends School by including SSFS in their will, or through a personal tax deferred commitment.
The simplest way of joining Friends Forever is by including Sandy Spring Friends School in your will in the form of a bequest and informing the School of your intentions. You may also choose to become a member of Friends Forever through a Charitable Remainder Trust, a Revocable Living Trust, or another planned gift. The School will be happy to discuss these options with you. To ensure your wishes for a planned gift are carried out in accordance with applicable laws, please consult with your attorney. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your advisors to discuss how to include SSFS in your estate plan. All discussions are confidential.
[The foregoing is intended as general discussion only, and is not legal or tax advice. Each person should contact his/her attorney, or financial advisor, about his/her individual situation.]
For more information, please contact Karl Gedge, Assistant Head of School for External Relations, 301.774.7455 x162 or at karl.gedge@ssfs.org.
