We look forward to having you visit our beautiful 140-acre campus. Campus tours are available on a weekly basis. Reservations are required for tours. Please contact the Office of Admission to schedule at 301-774-7455.

• Lower School tours are offered Wednesdays at 9:30 am.
• Middle School tours are offered Tuesdays at 9:00 am.
• Upper School tours are offered Tuesdays at 9:00 am.

Families should arrive to the Office of Admission (Scott House) 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Tours last approximately one hour. Please let us know if you require special accommodations.

Tours are offered throughout the year except on major holidays, school breaks and special events.

Open House, Information Sessions and Dine & Discover events are offered October through January. See dates listed below and contact the Admission Office to RSVP.

Visits for Applicants

Shadow days are required as part of the application process for Grades 2-8. Once the application has been submitted, please contact the Office of Admission to schedule this visit.

For applicants in grades 9-12, shadow days are not required. However, applicants are welcome to experience a day in the life of a Sandy Spring Friends School student. Students may visit for a half or full day.

We encourage applicants to schedule a shadow day as soon as their application is submitted.

Overnight visits for boarding students are available Sunday through Thursday. Once the application has been submitted, please contact the Office of Admission to schedule the overnight visit. Overnight visits are available during the academic year except on major holidays, school breaks, and any special events.

Playgroups for Pre-K, K and Grade 1 have pre-assigned dates. Once your application is complete, the Office of Admission will contact to confirm your spot in a playgroup.
