Sandy Spring Friends School (550 students, PK-12, co-ed, day/boarding) provides a college preparatory liberal arts curriculum for students of diverse ethnic, racial, economic and religious backgrounds. Located approximately 35 minutes northwest of Washington, D.C. in historic Sandy Spring, Maryland, students and faculty are attracted to the school because of its 140-acre natural environment, warm community, excellent academic reputation, and Quaker values.

Sandy Spring Friends School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, or a person's status as a qualified candidate with a disability in administration of its educational program, admission policies, financial aid program, staff hiring and other school-administered programs. However, special consideration may be given to members of The Religious Society of Friends.
